The Florida State Pilots Association is a voluntary organization comprised of all of the individual pilot associations serving the State of Florida in its various ports.

It is designed in general to promote good will, provide leadership, coordinate all efforts, and represent member associations on the state level.

Its national counterpart, the American Pilots Association, represents the pilot association of some 20 maritime states in very much the same manner.
